This piece titled “7 Sins and Some Mustard” got it’s inspiration from the social-media-food-culture. A lot of our behaviors around food today include social media, especially in restaurants. I found all the 7 deadly sins to be present and to hammer the point home I gave all the fox characters an animal hat to wear. 

From right to left:
1. Anger (Badger) trying to take an image of their food.
2. Lust (Viper) drinking themself silly and acts poisonous.
3. Greed (Raven) attempting to steal sloth’s hat.
4. Pride (Reindeer) Laiti in Finnish means the leading reindeer of the herd.
5. Sloth (Bear) sleeping through the winter.
6. Envy (Pheasant) looking at prides golden steak while having the exact same.
7. Gluttony (Seagull) consuming food, cigarettes and TV.

The piece is made with acrylic paints, acrylic markers and high quality colored pencils on a corrugated museum quality plastic.
